DR. Frank J. DeMento established
a solo practice in 1968. Over the past 35
years, the practice
has grown to include associates and physician assistants. This practice is a state-of-the-art dermatologic
facility. Our building is a multi-specialty center. This practice
takes pride in offering patients the latest techniques for treatment
of their skin conditions and uses the latest techniques and equipment
available. In addition, Dr. DeMento, and his associates, are
not only university trained,
but are board certified in
their specialty of dermatology. Our dermatologic Physician Assistants
are well-trained to assist us in providing care for our patients.
The office is located in Garden City, which is a suburban community
located on Long Island, New York. This growing community has a
population of almost 45,000 people. The local economy is provided
by one of the largest shopping malls, Roosevelt Field, light industry,
local restaurants and financial companies.
Our dermatological approach is conservative,
and we treat a range of skin conditions from acne to skin malignancies.
Our accredited surgical suite provides patients with the confidence
that we use the latest techniques and surgical advances. Our cosmetic
practice ranges from a full line of skin products to sclerotherapy
for spider veins, restylane, botox, Sculptra®, chemical
peels for skin rejuvenation, and photo epilation. Consults for cosmetic procedures are complimentary.
Our Mission
The mission, goal and objective of this organization is to provide
our patients the most complete, up-to-date, efficient, thorough
and cost-effective dermatological care. Continuing education and pre-employment
screenings allow our practice to continue and maintain the best
possible administrative and clinical staff. Our office is fully
computerized in aspects of our practice from billing to our In-depth
malignancy recall system, digital imaging and photography, phone
for patient's direct access to their biopsy reports, and VISIA
skin analysis.

and care plans are individualized to meet each person's unique
needs and lifestyle. We also provide free consultations for
cosmetic procedures and free VISIA skin analysis.
